Aktivate registration must be complete prior to tryouts. If a student does not complete their registration at aktivate.com (formerly Register My Athlete) they will not be able to participate in tryouts.

Physicals are required every year.

Preseason:
To participate in pre-season practice, the student must have an off-season conditioning permit filled out.
​
INTERESTED IN PLAYING SOFTBALL THIS SPRING ’26? Pre-season workouts will start Monday, December 15th. These workouts will take place at Carson High School Monday-Thursday 2:30pm-4pm every week.
Mon/Wed: Are the fundamentals/reps days. Meeting at the varsity softball field, weather permitting. Bring softball apparel.
Tues/Thurs: Are the weights/conditioning days. Meeting at the football field. Bring workout apparel.

​Please bring your softball gear (glove, bat, hitting gloves, etc…) and running shoes to all workouts!

Pre Season
Please schedule your doctor appointments, dental appointments, and any other appointments for Fridays during preseason. If you cannot make it to the workouts, YOU need to tell one of the coaches ahead of time. Do not pass it on through a friend.
Be responsible!Wear Senator colors to practice: navy blue, light blue, royal blue, white, gray, or even black. Softball pants are mandatory on Cleats will not be allowed to be worn on the turf football field, so please make sure to always bring your turf/running shoes. At minimum, you must have shoes, softball pants, and a glove. We can provide a bat if you do not have one.We will be working on fundamentals throughout pre-season, as well as plenty of conditioning.

Please alert the coaches if you have any medical conditions that we should be aware of.
Do your best to improve every day. Be coachable. We will expect you to do things the way we ask you to do them while practicing with us.
Be respectful to all coaches.Three rules:
1) Hustle at all times 2) No foul language 3) Have fun
