Athletic Trainer
Adam Hunsaker
Adam Hunsaker has been serving Carson High School as the athletic trainer since 2013. He earned a BS in Exercise Science from the University of Utah and an MS in Athletic Training from Weber State.
Adam performs all concussion testing for our student athletes and attends to their medical needs throughout the season. Adam offers sports medicine internship opportunities for students as well.
Important Information
Concussion Testing Fees
Concussion testing is required of all student athletes. Concussion testing is $15 and can be paid by card online through Aktivate or with cash in person at the student finance office.
Return to Play
If a student athlete is injured and seeks medical attention from a medical provider other than our trainer or if our trainer refers them to a doctor, the athlete must have a medical note from the medical provider clearing them to play in order to participate in sports again. Once the note is given to the athletics office and the athletic trainer, a plan for returning to play after the injury can be created with the guardians, athlete, and athletic trainer
